JAZZCHOPS is a Jazz Music Blog committed to informing Jazz Music Lovers, Jazz Music Listeners, Aficianodos, and the Jazz Communinity (All Ages) about the Jazz Musician Legends, and current Jazz Musicians on the scene today. JAZZCHOPS will list Jazz Musicians' Best Jazz Recorded Albums/CD's that each Jazz Artist has recorded during their career.
The Blog will be dedicated to Straight-Ahead, Classics, Blues influenced Jazz Music, and Jazz Records that are the Roots of this great music called JAZZ. You will read about the Great Trios, Quartets, Quintets, and occasionally larger Bands, and a few borderline Avant-Garde. Muscians will be John Coltrane, Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan, McCoy Tyner, Miles Davis, Jackie McClean, Bobby Watson, Art Blakey, Eric Dolphy, Joe Henderson, Edddie Henderson, Herbie Hancock, Vincent Herring, Roy Hargrove. I could go on and list more, but I think you know where I'm coming from, and going Straight-Ahead.

The Blog will list the Best and Greatest Jazz Musicians, primarily. Most of the Great Jazz Legends will be discussed and talked about on the Blog. My personal comments (reviews if you will from a Jazz Lover) will be displayed about the Jazz Musicians' best Jazz Albums, and the best cuts off each Album, and record.
I've listened to over 800 Jazz Albums. The young Lions will also be listed, the Jazz Musicians making the best Quality, Improvied Jazz, risk takers who are making the most impact Jazz Music on today's Jazz Scene. The Best Ballands, best Blues inflections, the best hard-driving blowing sessions, all these and more. Classic, Modern Jazz at its Best.
I'm even thinking about starting a Jazz Music FM Radio Station, broadcasting in Delaware. If anyone is interested in helping me and jumping on board this entrepreneurial endeavor, please Email me @ [email protected]. Thanks, Jim Watkins.
